We are glad you found our home on the web. Perhaps you found our site because you are interested in American history. We are too. Each of our members are direct descendants of those patriots that achieved the independence of the American people. Our Society's objectives are patriotic, historical and educational. Throughout Illinois, in big cities and in small towns, our members are working to promote patriotism and preserve the ideals of freedom. Whether you are already a member of the SAR or someone interested in becoming a member, you will find the Illinois SAR is a great organization for you to express your enthusiasm for patriotism and freedom, and to promote the ideals of our founding fathers. Our programs are many and varied.

Notice: The Illinois SAR will hold its annual formal dinner and awards luncheon at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel and Conference Center in Springfield, Illinois. Overnight lodging is only $92.99 with reservations made by calling 866-788-1860 and asking for the group rate for the Sons of the American Revolution. The formal dinner will be Friday, May 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Ballroom. The meal features sirloin steak ($40 each) and a special visit from Alexander Hamilton followed by the member recognition awards. Saturday business meeting and luncheon ($30) will also be in the Lincoln Ballroom with a divider. A continental breakfast will be served to members and spouses from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM with our usual community/youth recognition awards luncheon at noon. Deadline for room reservations is APRIL 20.
