Transferring from C.A.R. to SAR

C.A.R. members in good standing between the ages of 18 - 22 are able to apply/transfer to the SAR.

1. Locate your local SAR chapter.  
2. Obtain a record copy of your C.A.R. application.  
3. Complete an online application at the SAR website (https://www.sar.org).
4. Provide the chapter registrar with a copy of your birth certificate.
5. Provide checks to registrar for application:
   1. Check #1 to NSSAR for $35
   2. Check #2 to ILSSAR for $20
6. All applications must be printed in duplicate, double-sided, on SAR watermarked paper
7. The application packet and both checks should be mailed to the ILSSAR registrar
