2025 Annual ILSSAR Meeting & Awards

Each year Compatriots from all over Illinois and the Nation come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the Illinois Society and its 14 chapters. In addition in even numbered years, we also welcome the new officers for ILSSAR.

Members are encouraged to bring their significant other to the event. Attendance shows appreciation for those that receive awards and also helps the Ladies Auxiliary (more details below) support ILSSAR.
Abraham Lincoln HotelThe 2025 Conference will be taking place at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel by DoubleTree located at 701 E. Adams St., Springfield, IL. There is only a limited number of rooms at the discounted rate of $119 if booked by April 25. You can register by calling +1 (217) 544-8800 and mention group "Sons".

ILSSAR Silent Auction
Each year the Ladies Auxiliary hosts a Silent Auction which takes place during the Awards Banquet. Chapters are encouraged to donate items. All proceeds for the auction go towards the ILSSAR Cemetery Marking Program.
What kind of items are a hit for donations?
Individual members are also encouraged to bring items for donation. If chapters or members have an item for donation, please take a photo of the item(s) and send it to Linda Ashby. We will share some of the items here on this page as donations are received.
